Our summer flew by this year—we hope everyone had a great break from school, and lots of fun!
Now comes August--School begins, and so does Gap Kids! We’re planning another great year with our kiddos. It is always such a blessing to see them mature and grow in the Lord.
We will continue our schedule of meeting each Wednesday night at 6:45, with the exception days of “no school, no Gap Kids”.
Looking forward to seeing all the children, and new faces are always welcome, so invite others out to hear about Jesus!

The Youth had such a busy summer! But, August brings the return to school, so this month will be back to doing our usual things, with a couple extras thrown in.
We’ll begin the month with a Back to School Bash on Saturday the 1st.
On the 2nd, we have the opportunity to go to Sulphur Springs Baptist Church for our David and Goliath presentation. Afterwards, Mrs. Jackie has invited us to have our last Afterglow at her house.
August 29th, we’ll leave at 4 pm to do some Christmas Child shoebox supplies shopping, and have supper while we’re out.
Please keep all the children in your prayers as they start back to school!

The bible study Taste and See ends with our last session on August 11th.
Our Fall bible study on Joshua will begin in September. Women of all ages are invited to come and study with us.
Golden Age Group
On Saturday August 8th we will go to Narroway to celebrate the 250th birthday of our nation.

The Ladies’ Prayer Group will meet at church on the 18th at 10:00 a.m. We encourage any of our ladies who are able, to join us!

Dear Church Family,
Thank you for the outpouring of your love, affection, and prayers on our closing day with you as Interim Pastor and wife. Your kindness, care, and generosity was demonstrated through your words, cards, prayers, money tree and other affectionate gifts. In the month of July, we have been able to bless our missionary families and others as the love of Coopers Gap has flowed through our fingers and given us special opportunities together as a family. The entire Baker family wishes to thank you for your timely gifts as we thank God for the love He has demonstrated through YOU. We are “forever friends” and cherish the family ties formed in our time with you. We look forward to reports of the great work God will continue to perform in each of you! (Philippians 1:6)
